Charles co-founded the think tank Global Financial Integrity (2006) and chaired its advisory board, co-founded the Financial Accountability and Corporate Transparency Coalition (2009), is Executive Producer of We’re Not Broke (premiered at Sundance in 2012), and was vice-chair of the Freedom House board of trustees. He co-founded and was Executive Director of the Kleptocracy Initiative at Hudson Institute (2014-2018).
