Fukuyama, Kagan, and Meade at The Agenda (Canadian television) discussing America and its future. Wide ranging dialog with key terms for me being: baseline comparisons, export model (ideas), range and machinery, exceptionalism vs. indispensibility, and fiscal insolvency/grid lock – all facets of coming to terms with American culture, economics, and politics as concluded by host
(especially since guests see societal uncertainty in future premised on American democracy – though Fukuyama not sure – meeting challenge).
