“In a recent poll of Indian citizens by the Lowy Institute in Australia, 83 percent of respondents said they view China as a major national security threat.”

    And well they should.

“Contrast these results with Indians’ impressions of the United States:
83 percent said India-US relations are strong, and 75 percent want those
relations to improve over the next decade.”

Gads…imagine the influx of immigrants when McLame, Grahamnesty, and Rubio betray the nation and sell us out to the Democrats by passing the open borders BS amnesty law. We’ll have 700 million “citizens,” the majority of whom will lounge around and suck the public fisc dry. Here’s a great way to tell if a policy is a destructive one: Democrats and RINOs support it.

Here’s my modest proposal for improving Indian-US relations:

India buys a couple of dozen F-18s. In return the US throws in for free the USS Kitty Hawk and all the F-4s that have not yet been converted into target drones and blown up. The US can also provide all the technical assistance needed to recondition the Kitty Hawk and the airplanes, giving India a significantly enhanced local defense infrastructure. The F-4s, while old, have a history of doing quite well against the MIG 21s that are the backbone of the Pakistani Air Force. The Kitty Hawk is far more capable than the problem ridden Russian aircraft carrier that the Indians have been waiting on forever and would allow India to assert dominance over the oceans anywhere near India against anybody except the United States and possibly Russia.
