I still think a transition to wind and solar energy is in our country’s long-term interest, but “it will all work out in the end” is not a good business strategy. There is good savings to be had from solar, but ultimately it has to make economic sense.
Wasn’t it LDK Solar Hi-tech Company’s over-production that did Solyndra in? I’ve read China’s ship-building industry has likewise grossly over-produced. Capital investment decisions in China are not made rationally. Thus do they waste the blood, sweat, and tears of their people.
