    Geez, when anyone even infinitesimally to the Right of the Left utters these words, all the bien-pensants spit up in their outrage. But now we are informed who are justly the true proprietors of an entire continent. Good to know. I guess old ideas die hard. Social Democracy Empire = Holy Roman Empire? Who will be its Charles V?
