“Kashmiri insurgents, with Pakistani support, have been waging a low-intensity insurgency against the Indian state”.

One needs to be careful here. Most of the “kashmiri insurgents” are not kashmiris.Kashmiri insurgency has died long time back although some people still might have some grievences. Most of the “Kashmiri insurgents” are actually Pakistani Punjabis and Pushtoons infiltrated into Kashmir by Pakistani army and ISI.

  • These jihadis are not truly insurgents but a maily terrorists trained in Pakistani soil and illegally occupied Kashmir where they run terrorist camps. It is not just Kashmir alone but these jihadis are transported all over the world. India has no choice but to suffer them due to weak central leadership.

This terrorism started from 1989 soon after the war in Afghanistan was over. These brute militants trained to fight there had to be rerouted. Kashmir provided them an immediate soft target. This mindset of Pakistan need a change.
