Matthew Kroenig is an assistant professor and international relations field chair in the department of government at Georgetown University, author of Exporting the Bomb: Technology Transfer and the Spread of Nuclear Weapons, and served, from 2010–11, as an adviser on Iran policy in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Robert McNally is president of the Rapidan Group, an energy market and policy consulting firm, and served as Special Assistant to the President at the U.S. National Economic Council and as Senior Director for International Energy at the U.S. National Security Council under President George W. Bush.
