A Busy Day at Via Meadia

Apologies for light blogging during the day today; I will be teaching a combined class at West Point with my Bard students and some West Point cadets.  As this involves traveling from the stately manor up the Hudson to West Point, and then traveling on up to my rural hideaway in the rolling Dutchess County hunt country, computer access will be limited until later this evening.

But have no fear; teams of relentless interns are trolling the web even as I write and by the time I arrive in Annandale this evening there will be plenty of grist for the Mead mill to grind.

Could they not start trawling the web instead? Trolling it is somewhat antisocial.

As a West Point grad who is also a huge fan of Via Meadia, I’m very glad that you are connecting with the cadets. Have a great time!

    Dear relentless interns,
Only after one’s comment appears up in lights does one see all the errors—very embarrassing. Is it possible to figure out a way for one to edit one’s comment after you approve and post it? Here is an outfit that has figured it out. The edit delete feature appears upon posting (not time delayed) and at all times there after upon running the curser over one’s own post (and only one’s own post). To see the feature you will need to leave an experimental comment.

@ a nissen: I will ask our tech wizards to explore the options.

“…running the curser over one’s own post…”: I subcontract cursing.
