Might I gently suggest that, like social networking, listening to podcasts is a practice in which thoughtful people do not engage.

    • Do thoughtful people appear on television and radio? Do thoughtful people watch television or listen to the radio?

I mean, you’re entitled to your opinions, of course.

I was being facetious. I suspect that the thoughtfulness content of podcasts is higher than that to be found on television or radio. And I’m sure that there are one or two thoughtful people who listen to radio, watch TV or listen to podcasts [/grin].

        • I’m not a regular consumer of podcasts myself. But I must say it has been fun to work on these so far and I definitely see how people might use them—on commutes, etc. I might investigate the medium more.
