Too Sexy for Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia faced a near catastrophe this week when three Emirati men clearly too handsome to appear in public attended an annual cultural festival. Thankfully, the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice was on the scene, and quickly dispatched the Saudi religious police to seize and deport the delinquent heartthrobs before any women swooned:

In its report, Elaph said several religious cops deployed through the festival rushed into the UAE pavilion on Sunday and escorted three Emirati delegates out.

“A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission members feared female visitors could fall for them,” the news service said, adding that the festival’s management took urgent measures to deport the three to Abu Dhabi.

Crisis averted. Think of all the innocent women saved from impure thoughts.

Perhaps if enough pressure is put on the regime, Saudi women will one day have the freedom to gaze upon these Emirati hunks, for entertainment purposes only, and under the supervision of a male relative.

I always smile and think of Saudi Arabia, whenever the Wilsonians pat themselves on the back and brag about how America is such a principled supporter of democracy around the world.

Such a nuisance. This happens to me every time I visit Saudi Arabia.

If this wasn’t so true, it would be funny. I just can’t imagine a patrol that looks out for people that are just too good looking.

But they’re capable of democracy if only America would stop supporting their dictatorship. /sarcasm

It may not be politically correct to admit it, but we all know that women need this kind of protection. They just can’t control their impulses. ;-)
